Janaseva PU College, a residential institution for boys, commenced its operations in the academic year 2006-07. The college was established as part of the commemorative project for the "Param Poojaniya Sri Guruji Golwalkar" janmashatabdi celebrations, initially focusing on pure sciences.
Three years later, a commerce section offering HEBA and SEBA combinations was introduced, alongside the PCMB/PCMC combination within the science group.

Janaseva PU College is a fully residential institution, where students reside together, enjoy community life and cultivate a culture of togetherness. Situated within a sprawling 50-acre campus, the college offers a natural environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
Students benefit from facilities like boarding and lodging accommodations, well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, and libraries. Additionally, spacious rooms, a prayer hall, and seminar halls cater to various needs and activities. The serene ambiance, complemented by the nearby Sri Dakshinamurthy temple and Veda Vijnana Gurukulam, instills a sense of spirituality and tranquility, enriching the overall educational experience for students.

The academic year at the PU College commences on the 1st of June annually.

Admission:
- Meritorious Students particularly with good character will be admitted as per PU Board rules after an interview and medical check-up.
- If selected for admission - candidates from any board other than Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, will have to produce a provisional certificate as per the rules and regulations laid down by PU Board, Karnataka.
- Selected candidates coming from CBSE or ICSE or from outside Karnataka will have to produce migration certificates from their respective examination boards.
- Both Male and Female Day scholar students are allowed to apply.
- Admission process starts as soon as the SSLC Results are announced.
